Download MetasequoiaLE R2.1 to your desktop or a special folder an start the file mqle21a.exe and follow the instructions.
After the successful installation you should habe a folder like this:

Now start MetasequoiaLE (I will call it Meta in the future) by clicking twice on the green symbol named Metaseq.exe.

You will get the following view:

Chosse ‘Other Language’ and than ‘English’.

Your next view is this:

Pushing the OK-button will give you the starting-window:

Now maximize your toolbar by clicking ‘Edit’ and ‘System’.

Open the edit-pulldown-menu from the menubar and remove the hook from ‘Basic mode’

Now choose ‘File’ and ‘Configuration’.

After all these actions you will get your starting window as shown below:

Next have a look to the Grid Settings:

If you don’t change anything, each square will have a size of 50 x 50 cm.

For our example we will change the grid settings to 1 cm:
